Burlap, also known as jute or hessian depending on where in the world you are, is a bulky, woven fabric made from the skin of the jute plant or sisal fibres. Golden brown in its natural state, burlap can also be dyed allowing for a wide range of colour choices.

Please note, this width of burlap may have a coloured 1-strand band running down one of the long edges, less than 1" in.
