Hello there! Thanks for popping by & welcome to my site. My name’s Nina and I’m the owner of this labour of love called Quammie Homecrafts – your not-so-run-of-the-mill, quirky crafts supply business based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Yes, the mountains called and I answered. Bringing together my love of crafts, retail therapy and serving others, Quammie Homecrafts was born to serve the discerning crafter who couldn’t find what they were looking for in the local big box craft stores, or at least not for a reasonable price. Many of the products I carry are the result of requests from my loyal customers, and I love that. When I talk about Quammie Homecrafts, I always refer to ‘we’, because although it’s just me behind the scenes right now, I’m building this business for my family, and see every one of you, our loyal supporters, as part of the QH team. How did the name come about, you may be asking? Well, to be honest, it was only ever meant to be a placeholder. After months of looking for something cool sounding with an available domain name back in 2015, the entrepreneur in me just wanted to get started, so I took my last name and what I wanted the business to embody and ran with it. I guess it kind of stuck! Quammie Homecrafts – a place to help anybody, of any ability, craft anywhere, and especially within the comfort of their own home. Welcome to the happy crafting place! Orders can be placed in advance through our online store, by email or via phone and can be shipped or collected in person (by appointment only). Our Calgary business license does not allow us to publicly publish our address but if you want to know approximately where we are, we are located in the lovely neighbourhood of Hillhurst NW, Calgary, AB T2N 2C2.
