The Crafty Bees of Forest Lawn is a group of Calgarian women who come together to make quilts, clothes, stuffed animals, wall hangings, shoes and bags every Monday.
"We make each other lunch, we laugh, create, learn and just enjoy being with each other."
The proceeds from the group's craft sales are being donated to the building fund for a woman’s facility.
"There are too few beds available in Calgary for women who are managing their recovery from alcohol and drug addictions, difficult living conditions, or those who have fallen through the cracks in our social systems."
The group is committed to raising for this facility.
